Jericho Beach is located west of the Kitsilano neighborhood in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. It is part of Jericho Beach Park, which is a popular attraction in the city of Vancouver and features food concessions, a soccer field, a baseball field, tennis courts, picnic tables, public washrooms, beach volleyball nets, as well as a peaceful pond for bird and wildlife watching. Jericho Beach is an excellent place for a family picnic and provides excellent views of the Vancouver city skyline.
The beach tends to fill up in the summer months with tourists and locals looking to enjoy the beautiful BC weather and in July it is home to the popular Folk Music Festival.
There is a great biking and walking trail that leads you along the water’s edge, where there are many sandy beaches with food stands to stop at and enjoy some ice cream or refreshments.
