Things to do
Hiking
There is a 2.5 km walking trail within the park, as well as several trailheads for other hiking paths including the 50 km long Okanagan Rail Trail and the Campbell Brown Ecological Reserve. The Okanagan Rail Trail provides walking, running, or biking along incredible lakeside vistas with perfect sandy beaches and intersects the village of Oyama.
Beaches
Kekuli Bay has several beaches that contain vibrant blue waters that seem to belong in the Caribbean as opposed to Canada. If the park seems a little busy, as it tends to get in the summer, you can always walk a little way down the Rail Trail and score a completely private beach all to yourself. Kekuli’s beaches also provide the perfect spot to launch your kayaks, canoes, and paddleboards, and in the midst of the summer, there is a small rental kiosk where you can get these items.
