Papago is a fairly large park located in Phoenix, Arizona. Coming in at 1496 acres and has a plethora of different hiking trails that take you through beautiful desert landscapes littered with many unique species of cacti, including the famous saguaro. The saguaro cactus is an iconic piece of Arizona and is pretty much synonymous with the state.
Saguaro Cactus, red spires of rock and endless expanses of the desert is probably what first comes to mind when you think of Arizona, and believe me there is definitely all of that. Phoenix, on the other hand, is a large bustling metropolis and is, in fact, the 4th biggest city in the U.S., but don’t let the size of this giant scare you off
