About Rainbow Falls, Cherryville, British Columbia

Rainbow Falls is a sight to behold and is quite spectacular. It is fed by Spectrum Creek which originates from Spectrum Lake. The falls are located in the remote area known as Monashee Provincial Park, British Columbia. Rainbow Falls is one of many incredible attractions throughout the park. The falls are situated quite far from civilization, so making them a stop on your hiking journey probably makes the most sense. That being said they are an excellent day trip as well.

The trail down to the falls is short and only takes about 5 minutes. Right, when you step out of your vehicle you will hear the thunderous sound of the falls. As you head down the trail you will witness the brilliant green forest that thrives off the abundance of moisture in the air. There are two viewing platforms that allow you to get up close to the falls but you will get wet and cold depending on how long you choose to stand there.

All in all Rainbow Falls is gorgeous and makes a great stopover on your Monashee adventure, or if you're already in the area visiting Sugar Lake.
