Ribbleworth Falls is a gorgeous cascading waterfall located in Lake Country, British Columbia. The falls can be reached by taking the Okanagan Rail Trail from one of the two villages of Oyama or Winfield.
An incredible slice of Canadian heaven awaits you at the 50 km long Okanagan Rail Trail in British Columbia. BX Creek and Falls are located on Tillicum Road just outside of Vernon, British Columbia, and are situated in forested ravines and gullies that have been naturally carved out by the water for many millennia. They are just one of many spectacular attractions within the desirable Okanagan Valley, BC, and provide a rainforest-like feel as opposed to that of the desert-like valley below. The lushness of the place can be directly attributed to the consistently moist microclimate that is created by the canyon walls and the creek working together.
The McAbee Fossil Beds site is located east of Cache Creek, and west of Kamloops, British Columbia, Canada. The area is part of an ancient lake bed dating back 50 million years. It is considered the most diverse fossil bed in British Columbia and is known for its fossilized plants, insects, and fish from the Eocene Epoch.
Fintry Falls Provincial Park is located on the beautiful Fintry delta along the incredibly beautiful Okanagan Lake in British Columbia, Canada. There is a small community located on one end of the delta and it is known as Fintry. The provincial park itself has campsites and gorgeous beaches located within its boundaries. Shorts Creek, which eventually turns into the falls starts high on top of Terrace Mountain and exits out into the lake.
Sicamous Creek Falls in the Shuswap, British Columbia is located a short drive just off of Vernon-Sicamous Highway 97A on the outskirts of Sicamous. There are several trails within in the park including a short hike down to the falls and if you feeling brave you can hike along the falls using ropes to climb some sketchy steep areas, you can also hike up the mountain to the Canyon Lookout to take in the fantastic views of Mara Lake.
