Campbell - Brown Trail, Kalamalka Lake
About Campbell - Brown Trail
The Campbell - Brown hiking trail is a brand new trail in the Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, and is situated just a few minutes drive from the city of Vernon along Highway 97. The hiking trail was built using remnants of the old highway between Vernon, and Kelowna, and features spectacular views of the sought-after Kalamalka Lake. Along the way, you will spot plenty of local Okanagan wildlife as well as wild berry bushes like Saskatoonberries, Black raspberries, and wild cherries. If you choose to you will be able to connect to the Okanagan Rail Trail and do a loop right back to the parking lot, which takes around 2 hours. If you choose to do the loop you will be able to take a dip in the gorgeous turquoise water at one of the many beaches Kalamalka Lake provides along the way.
