Playa del Holi, Puerto Vallarta
Playa del Holi is a popular beach that is located in the heart of Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. It is one of the busiest beaches in the state of Jalisco and sees a ton of tourists every year. The beach is known for being the place where the waters of the Pitillal River meet the sea and create a beautiful lagoon. At the lagoon, there are all kinds of wildlife, and bird watchers will enjoy watching the egrets and cranes catch small sea creatures in the shallows.
Playa del Holi is a great place for swimming as the waters are much calmer here than on many of the other beaches in Puerto Vallarta. It is a clean beach, with no trash, and has access to bathroom facilities. There are beachfront bars and restaurants where you can get some good food and beverages as well as vendors who walk up and down the beach selling snacks and souvenirs.
During the Mexican holidays like Holy Week and Easter, the beach fills up with thousands of locals and tourists who pass who wish to enjoy some sun and a good atmosphere.
