Platja de Muro is the largest beach on the island of Mallorca, Spain. It sits on the gorgeous blue Meditteranean Sea and is comprised of four sections that stretch six kilometers. The sand of Playa de Muro is perfectly white and the water is nice and shallow for quite a ways. There are dunes in some sections of the beach that you can explore including the interesting park called Torre D’enfalacio, which features old military watchtowers used to spot invaders, as well as a unique forest habitat that you can hike around.
This large white sand beach is located in the town of Muro and the fantastic medieval town of Alcúdia. Playa de Muro is an excellent beach for families because of its easy access, and the fact that it is lined with great restaurants and shops. It also has onsite washroom facilities and designated play areas for kids.
