About Mint Beach, Kalamalka Lake, British Columbia
Mint Beach is a small park and beach that is situated on lovely Kalamalka Lake, British Columbia. This ideally located beach lies on Westkal Road in the Coldstream area of the city of Vernon.
This beach park is undeveloped and has nothing in terms of amenities aside from two parking spaces, and a trash can. It has a small sandy area that is perfect for taking a swim in the crystal clear waters of Kalamalka Lake. There are a couple of chairs that were brought there by some locals that provide an excellent spot for hanging out at the lake. Keep in mind there aren’t any kind of washrooms at Mint Beach.
If you do decide to check out Mint Beach, I suggest getting there as early as possible because typically the area fills up with beachgoers in the summer. If you find that the park is already occupied then head down the road to one of the other local beaches or take a walk on the nearby Okanagan Rail Trail where there are a ton of small beaches.
