History of Miller Lake
Adventurer, explorer, and school inspector A.E. Miller was a pioneer when it comes to exploring the park. He helped to spread the word about Mount Revelstoke’s beauty by writing articles in the Revelstoke newspaper. Miller Lake was named in his honor.
The geology of the lake was formed by a glacier that disappeared after the last ice age leaving behind the extraordinary blue lake you see today.
