Deep into the forested hills of Enderby, British Columbia is the picture-perfect body of water known as Hidden Lake. The lake is an idyllic Okanagan getaway that features plenty of small beaches and coves with warm swimmable water. It also boasts 3 public campgrounds with a total of 46 campsites, as well as day-use spots for those coming for the day. Campsites go for a cheap $15 per night and cannot be reserved ahead of time as they are secured on a first come first serve basis.
Hikers who visit Hidden Lake will enjoy the wilderness around the lake and there is a well-traveled hiking trail that runs along the edge of the lake leading through the forest and opening up to gorgeous little beaches and sandy coves.
Aside from campers, hikers, and beachgoers, Hidden Lake is also popular for anglers who are looking to catch some fish. The lake is stocked with large rainbow trout and the fish caught here can be lunkers that weigh up to 4 kg.
The road leading to Hidden Lake is rough and rocky in many parts, so take that into consideration when visiting.
