Canoe Beach lies on the shores of picturesque Shuswap Lake, British Columbia. Though generally considered part of the city of Salmon Arm, the beach is actually located in the small lakefront village of Canoe, BC. The beach is just a short drive west of Salmon Arm and is one of the most beautiful and sought-after white-sand beaches in the Shuswap region. Canoe Beach features ample picnic space, lots of amenities, and spectacular mountain views, making this beach the perfect day trip for swimming, paddleboarding, and kayaking.
Canoe Beach boasts convenient amenities like a boat launch, a huge parking lot, picnic tables, a playground, a volleyball court, washrooms, and a beachfront cafe called Top Jimmy’s Canoe Beach Cafe.
Though Canoe Beach itself is not dog-friendly there is a sectioned-off area of the beach that has been designated as a dog beach.
